Women talking together. As friends. Cocking a snook at misogynist ideas of feminine rivalry, Carine Goron presents an ode to sisterhood through field interviews.
In the rural jargon, “la noue” is a draining channel changing according to rise and flood. Thanks to a sober circular system, where blunt words are the main characters, Noue gives the floor to women of varying ages and backgrounds, sharing with us their experiences as subjects assigned to the female gender.
