Anne-Laure Thumerel

Parallely to her research at the university, Anne-Laure Thumerel entered in 2015 the Cours Florent. She then started directing plays, with the Possibilities by Howard Barker, and Noradrénaline / Propranolol – halfway between personal writing and process-based dramaturgy. She then studied German dramaturgy at the Goethe Universität in Frankfurt within the framework of the Comparative Dramaturgy and Performance Research program and adapted Aurore Jacob’s text Souviens-toi des Larmes de Colchide. Together with the Ensemble 21 company based in the HDF region, she created Les Scandaleuses and became associate artist of the Maison du Théâtre d’Amiens. In 2023 she put on Next /Autopsie d’un massacre amoureux, telling the romantic setbacks from break-up to grief of the relationship.
